Jimmy Lile Mini Sly 2 PROTOTYPE
This is a prototype of a Mini Sly 2, we contacted the company that purchased the Lile rights and values knives. He said there are very few of these and can sell for up to $4500.
Overview
This Mini Sly II has the LILE stamp with NO-dot and was made with 13 saw teeth. It is also stamped with The Mini Sly II was designed by Jimmy Lile to meet the demand for his famous "First Blood" knives.
This knife has a 5 1/2” blade with 13 saw teeth, .173" blade thickness and 1.2" blade depth. The stainless steel handle is waterproof, cord wrapped, and hollow. The guard is also a multi-tool with a flat head and Phillips head screw driver. The aluminum butt cap unscrews to allow you to use the hollow handle for storage. Comes with a black leather sheath with sharpening steel made by "Johnson Sheathery".

It’s not enough to say Jimmy Lile was a legend among knifemakers. He made his mark on the custom knife world long before the Rambo movies made him famous. But even more famous was the knife on which he and Sylvester Stallone had collaborated. The knife would become the star of the great movie, Rambo, First Blood. Jimmy and Sly went on to create a second star for the next movie in the series, Rambo, First Blood II, The Mission. These two knives have enjoyed over 3 decades of fame as either model is still coveted in the knife collecting community. Inducted into the Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall of Fame in 1984 and the ABS Bladesmithing Hall of Fame in 1999. Jimmy passed away in 1991.
