The blade of this elite knife is crafted from CPM® M4, a special purpose high speed tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. CPM M4's sophisticated alloy composition, high vanadium content, and extremely fine grain structure give it exceptional wear resistance and toughness—properties that translate to outstanding edge retention and impact resistance in knife blades. Taking full advantage of these qualities, the PlainEdge™ blade of this knife features a full-flat grind for optimal cutting performance and point utility.

Equally unique, the knife's lightweight handle showcases scales injection molded from mint-green-colored fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and featuring Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure grip. To complement the satin-finished blade, the knife’s four-position clip and all other handle hardware are also brightly finished.
