Helle Harding H3LS - 99
Helle Harding is by many considered to be the no.1 among the Helle classics. True to its Norwegian heritage, this knife has accompanied many of our fans' adventures all over the world.
The beautiful, warm handle is made from curly birch and darkened oak. Blocks of wood that is separated by layers of colored leather. The handle has then been hand sanded to its barrel shape and polished by hand to a masterpiece.
The full-length stick tang blade is made of triple laminated stainless steel. Sharpened with a traditional scandi grind and hand polished to a razor-sharp edge.
The Harding comes with a beautiful and classic sheath of high-quality leather.

H3LS (Helle triple laminate stainless)
- Highly stainless austenitic (soft) outer layer from 304 steel
- High-carbon Stainless razor-steel core developed from Helle's family recipe patented in 1967.
- Outer layer is flexible (less likely to break), very resistant to rust and takes mirror polish.
- Core steel takes very sharp edge with high toughness (less likely to chip) that is easy to sharpen.
- HRC: 58-60
- Primarily used for: Traditional stick-tang knives, high-polish knives, carving knives.
